Michelle is a practising multidisciplinary theatrical artist and cultural leader with over twenty years of experience.

She is the Artistic Director and founder of The Living Room Theatre. A founding member and Deputy Director of the Sydney Environment Institute at the University of Sydney (2013 – 2021).

Outside of her artistic practice Michelle has a long-term research career exploring environmental issues and the link between social forms of violence. She is a philanthropist and an advocate for independent artists and organisations.
