In the Company of Makers: Provocations from the Inner West Creative Network

The Inner West Creative Network Provocation Series
Welcome to The Inner West Creative Network Provocation Series, an ongoing exploration designed to ignite creativity and inspire action. Running alongside our regular meet-ups, this series offers a unique opportunity for artists to delve into the heart of creative practice and engage in meaningful dialogue with their peers.
Inspired by Charlotte Wood’s acclaimed non-fiction work, The Luminous Solution: Creativity, Resilience, and the Inner Life, each session features an artist responding to one of the book’s compelling chapters. Through their personal interpretations, these provocations act as catalysts for deeper reflection and discussion, sparking new ideas and connections within our vibrant creative community.
This series is not only an invitation to listen but to actively engage—whether that’s through conversation, collaboration, or your own creative exploration. Join us as we unpack the profound themes of resilience, the creative process, and the richness of the inner life, guided by the voices of our local artistic talent.
Let these provocations inspire you, challenge you, and propel your creativity forward.
