Shan Richards is a visual artist based in Sydney. She exhibits her work nationally and internationally, and is also involved in the MDOK program, a wellbeing initiative for doctors and healthcare workers in the Sydney Local Health District.

Shan graduated with a Bachelor in Fashion Design from the East Sydney Design Studio and the Whitehouse Institute of Design, and continued her studies in haute couture. She worked in the fashion industry and built a private couture clientele producing beautifully hand crafted designs. Shan then moved overseas to study studio painting at the Chicago Art Institute before shifting to London to further her career in fashion and art. Returning to Australia, she has worked commercially as a product designer/developer for various commercial brands but also continues her career as an artist.
