About Tim Stackpool
Tim's career originates from Australia's Channel 9, then across all Australian free-to-air networks, independently producing and contributing to numerous speciality programs.
He is the presenter and producer of the online video 'micro-series' Works of Art in Sydney You Should Know, featuring 50 episodes, many with more than 100,000 views, and the author of the accompanying tourist guide, an Amazon best seller in its category.
He also currently hosts podcasts including 'Inside The Gallery' concerned with the arts in Australia, and 'Prospeaker' interviewing conference keynote speakers from across the world. He is the founding Chair (2 terms) of Sydney's Inner Creative Network, and has sat on Inner West Council's Arts and Cultural Advisory Committee (2 terms). He established the Australian Arts Channel in 2022, an online streaming service, and is developing Aussie Gold Radio, a UK and North American radio service featuring Australian music.
Consulting daily for various media operations regarding systems such as video & audio editing, signal distribution, live production processes & equipment, he also hosted "The World with Tim Stackpool", a weekly 30 minute radio show concerned with humanitarian causes and NGOs working around the world. It was broadcast on radio stations worldwide for over 2 years.
As an on-camera performer, Tim has supplied breaking news stories to broadcasters such as CBS, CBC, FOX, Sky and RTE, reporting live, covering international stories such as the murder of UK tourist Peter Falconio, the Lindt Cafe siege, the Black Saturday bushfires that killed more than 170 people, and the Queensland floods inundating an area the size of Germany, France & Poland.
